Help

Beloved,

I am Christ the Redeemer.

I have asked the father to send you a comforter, counselor, helper, intercessor, and advocate.

He is Holy Spirit and He lives in you.

He will teach you everything you need to know.

Stay in constant touch with him.

Together He and you will demonstrate the presence of Father God.

Stay alert, listen and act with His help.

The two of you will do many wonderful things together.

He is your standby and strengthener.

The Day of the Root Canal

Making Time

The Day of the Root Canal

DiVoran Lites

Today is the last day of April.
The showers have come down on time.
Love bugs are hugging the window.
And here I am looking for rhyme.
I need to stop in for panacea.
And visit the doctor there, too.
And then I’ll have lunch with my daughter.
It’s something that I love to do.

I hope I’ll get home for a rest.
I hope I won’t dream of my trials.
I hope that the dentist won’t hurt me.
With needles and grinders and files.

I know that you, Lord will go with me.
You’ll be there to comfort and ease.
I trust you with all of my troubles.
But let it be over soon, please.

A Quotation from Letters to a Young Poet

Here’s a beautiful quotation from poet Ranier maria Rilke’s book, Letters to a Young Poet

So rescue yourself from these general themes and write about what your everyday life offers you, describe your sorrows and desires, the thoughts that pass through your mind and your belief in some kind of beauty – describe all these with heartfelt, silent, humble sincerity and, when you express yourself, use the things around you, the images from your dreams, and the objects you remember. If your everyday life seems poor, don’t blame it; blame yourself; admit to yourself that you are not enough of a poet to call forth its richness, because for the creator there is no poverty and no poor, indifferent place. (Scribe, DiVoran Lites)
