I scrolled through my photos but most of pictures we take are landscapes and wildlife. Isn’t it interesting how many people of wealth crave power but God says power lies in the house of the righteous? I guess it depends on how one defines power.

Christmas day my husband, daughter and I took an afternoon drive on the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. My daughter snapped this photo at the Manatee Viewing Platform at Haulover Canal.

I love mountains, especially high mountains. I am in awe as I see the towns, valleys and ridges spreading out below me. Have you noticed how often Moses met with God on a mountain?

The photo used for this Proverb was taken January 1, 2010 in Townsend, Tn. When our children were teens we would take them there on warm summer days to tube Lots of happy memories there.

A picture of the rapids where if you lost your tube, you were “rock surfing”

The rapids ended in a deep pool surround by rock. People would climb up this one and jump. I did it once and only because once I climbed up, I know I couldn’t climb back down. Climbing up and jumping has now been banned by the Parks department and the trees are overtaking the rock wall.
