Proverbs 15:2

The photo used for this Proverb was taken January 1, 2010 in Townsend, Tn. When our children were teens we would take them there on warm summer days to tube Lots of happy memories there.

A picture of the rapids where if you lost your tube, you were “rock surfing”

The rapids ended in a deep pool surround by rock. People would climb up this one and jump. I did it once and only because once I climbed up, I know I couldn’t climb back down. Climbing up and jumping has now been banned by the Parks department and the trees are overtaking the rock wall.

Proverbs 15:1

This morning in my daily Bible reading I read Proverbs 15:15

All the days of the afflicted are evil but he who has a merry heart has a continual feast.

Proverbs 15:15

Proverbs definitely is not politically correct. I find it humorous that much is written about being gentle yet the verses are straightforward bordering on harsh by the standards of today. I am always searching for something fresh to share on our church Twitter account and decided to begin tweeting from Proverbs 15. If you would like to follow the Twitter feed, the handle is @TitusvilleC. I plan to post the Proverbs here as well. Here is the first one.
