Our webmaster and publicist asked me to share my facts. Talking about myself doesn’t come easily. My publicist would say “Rebekah Lyn is a best-selling author of Christian fiction with a heart for new beginnings.”
My personal experiences and journey with God have coupled with a love of history, research, and journaling to fuel a passion for writing. After working in the travel and hospitality industry for 15+ years I decided it was time to pursue that passion. My novels are character driven and I hope they will always engulf the reader in a great story while leaving them stronger in their faith.
My current works include, the Seasons of Faith series and The Coastal Chronicles. Seasons of Faith is a series set in downtown Orlando and follows the story of five young professionals as they advance their careers, fall in love and ultimately grow in faith. The Coastal Chronicles is a series of stand alone books that are set in small coastal communities. Julianne is set on the North Carolina coast and Jessie is set in my hometown, Titusville, Florida. I am currently working on the sequel to Jessie, book three in the series. It is important to me that all my stories share the message of God’s love and His desire for personal relationship with us.
I am a sandal-loving Florida native and received a degree in Communications from Jacksonville University. One of my passions is travel and I have traveled extensively across the United States and Canada as well as Europe and the Caribbean. Some of my best writing has been done on the balcony of a cruise ship. When I am not working or writing, I enjoy being in the kitchen cooking, and baking. I have recently taken up small space gardening and enjoy relaxing on my patio.
Now that I have told you all about myself, stop by my Kitchen Chat page and let’s get acquainted.
I have to warn you, though my attack kitty, Mia, can be pretty fierce.
My reading tastes are all over the place from the classics, Russian history and light fiction. What are yours?
